About lala_gal and yes, I will say why lala gal. :)

I'm a 23 year old girl, living in Croatia.

I graduated from high school of art and haven't really done anything that big since, unfortunately. Hopefully, that will change.
Because of my financial situation, I can't really go to college right now and to be honest, I'm not sure if I would, even if I could. The options in my town are really sad, so I would have to go to another city to study and I that costs a lot, which brings us back to the begging of my story. I ain't got no money.

That equals, I'm currently looking for a job. Good luck with that, huh? :) I know. Hopefully something will come up soon.

Untill it does, I have a LOT of free time And that's how my idea for writing a blog was born.

I'm always doing something on my computer, always writing, drawing, reading, looking for new music or a movie that will change my life at least a little..
And I figured, why not share it with the rest of the world? Who knows, maybe something good will come out of this. For now, it's a way for me to speak my mind and let it all out, so that's really enough.

Here's a few things you need to know about me before you go any further.

Why lala gal? My name doesn't have a deep meaningful story, but it does have a story. Gal is just a word I've grown to like in all of my years of watching Sex and the city. Carrie used it a lot of times and I always tought that's a much prettier, timeless version of the word girl. Put that with lala which in my world represents a cheerful, positive, optimistic and fun person and you got yourself a lala_gal. :)


As I already mentioned, I watch a lot of movies. Too much, probably.
I read a lot of books, but not enough, probably.
I get crazy, child-like happy about a lot of things.
I get crushes all the time, and I don't mean that in a „Oh, I'm a slut“ kinda way. :) I just believe it's better to get carried away about stuff that make you happy and things that you love.
That's why I have my little crushes on all kinds of things.
I have a crush on a book I'm reading, a movie that made me feel happy, a song that I can't stop listening to, a celeb I think is fabulous, a meal I could eat every few minutes, a dress I put on when I go out, my cat, the sun, a magazine, a smile..
I just LOVE to love and feel that little rush as much as I can, as often as I can.
Sometimes you will find that quality in me a little annoying, because I can't shut up about my loves.
But sometimes, hopefully, I will inspire you to get a little crazy and carried away yourself.

fashion,
animals,
books, aaahhh BOOKS!
Travels,
Italy,
reggae music, especially the old stuff like Dennis Brown used to sing, but also dancehall that Vybz Kartell is singing now.
Also, the beautiful songs Frank Sinatra and Carly Simon gave us, and the beautiful voices of John Legend or India Arie...

I am a huge dreamer so I am really thankful for all music, movies, shows, books and magazines. I get lost in them a lot and they are my escape when I need it the most.
My other escape is my boyfriend.
This beautiful, crazy, funny, playful man that seems to be a mirror reflection of me sometimes. (not with looks, but with mind, don't worry :))
All three of my dogs and a cat that is the coolest on earth are an instant smile on my face. I love to draw and paint and I wish I would do it a lot more.
I love summers because I get to walk around in tiny clothes and look all breezy and hippie.“ Rock chic groupie goddes & flower child“ is a crazy mix I try to make the first impression when people see me.

I eat a lot, especially the stuff that's not that good for your healt.
But I make it better with the fact I don't really have any other bad habits.
I don't smoke cigarettes, don't drink coffee, don't bite nails, don't drink... Ok, I drink a little sometimes. I'm a tiny girl so it takes 2 cups to get me drunk. :) That's one more thing that I love. I LOVE to go out and get drunk and see a million people that I love and do nothing.
I think it's the best thing we get to have as young people and we don't even realize it. The fact that you can go out and stay till 6am, sleep all day the next day, eat in bed while you watch „Friends“ for the millionth time, that just makes me feel HAPPY. And as much as I know I wil want a family and kids and lalala someday, right now I am crazy happy about the fact I'm carefree and lazy.
I love nature and the smell of trees, flowers and the sea.
I am such an internet freak, I scare even myself. There is no limit to hours I can spend online.
I adore playing games like Uno or Cluedo and Boggle is my all time favorite.
My whole room is covered with clipings from all kind of magazines, I write and draw on my walls, I put post it pappers all over, hanging from all places with affirmative messages written on them..
I love to always look good and I do like a lot of girly things, but I'm also a tomboy who's not afraid to get a little dirty and bruise my knees most of the time.
I tell jokes A LOT, some people complain that they don't even get me serious when I actually am serious.
I'm not a nervous person but I get really irritated on any sign of injustice.
I can be too emotional, too fragile at times, but I can also get really tough when I need to.
I have a few troubles in my life but I try to stay postive and just laugh and be happy... Most of the people know nothing about my sorrows, and sometimes I even manage to fool myself and forget about them.

This blog will be all that. Everything I love, hate, everything I think about, everything that makes me happy, everything that inspires me, worries me or makes me mad. Hopefully I will manage to give you a clearer pitcure of who I am with time.


And a few rules I made to make my life easier with this thing.

- I will not add you back unless I'm REALLY interested in your journal. I already have a lot of journals that I'm reading. But feel free to add me and follow my blog if you'd like that.

- I WILL probably make a lot of mistakes in my writing. English is a language I never studied anywhere, not even in school, so I know only what I have learned on my own. Take it or leave it.

- I will always try to answer all of your questions and comments, because I want to make a real connection with you. If I wanted to just talk to myself, I would scribble in my old notebooks.

- Don't be rude or mean, just because you can. If you don't like me, simply walk away. It's that easy. And we're both happy.

- But please do be a part of this blog with your comments, ideas or questions.
- And never, NEVER say anything bad about Obama. :)
